News paper nails

Whats in the news today? Today I painted my nails but added some fun on them! I did newspaper nails! Its super easy and very fun to do.

What you need:
- Base coat nail polish
- Top coat nail polish
- Nail polish (a light colour)
- Alcohol, vodka works best
- Newspaper
- A small plate

First paint a base coat on your nails. I used an ultra 3 nail polish. It doesn't matter which one you use. Then paint two coats of nail polish.

I used O.P.I 'Mod about you' nail polish. This colour is a light purple. I would suggest to use a light colour so the newspaper is easy to see. You may also like to use a white nail polish that works just as well. So anyways I painted two coats and allowed them to dry!

Cut up the newspaper into little squares to fit on your nails. Make sure the newspaper has writing on it because this is what will end up on your nail. Pour a little bit of vodka in a small plate and then dip the pieces of news paper in it. Place the damp newspaper on your nail and press down  for 10 seconds. Then peel the newspaper back slowly.

The newspaper should hopefully leave the text on your nail, like above. Finish with a top coat so the text doesn't smug.

Chocolate Waffles

Welcome to my first blog post ever! I am really nervous but really excited at the same time.  I would like to start of with a really simple dish that provides hardly any cooking at all!
So this morning I decided to make chocolate waffles with my brother. They are a delicious breakfast anybody can enjoy!

What you need:
- Waffles
- Chocolate
- Banana
- Strawberries
- Ice cream
- Saucepan

First of all you toast your waffles in a toaster. You can also heat them up in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

Next you need to start melting the chocolate
I placed the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Stir the chocolate until it is completely melted. If the chocolate is not the constancy you want it to be add a bit of milk to it.

Next cut up your fruit. These waffles can go with any fruit so feel free to experiment and use other fruits. I like bananas and strawberries because they go well with chocolate.

Next is plating up time! Drizzle the chocolate over the waffles and place the fruit and ice cream as desired. I only used one waffles but feel free to use as many as you want.

I hope you enjoyed my first blog post! And have fun making these.
