DIY Picture Frames

Its my beautiful friends Lily and Alexia's birthdays this week and I was stuck on getting them a present. I walked into my favourite stationary shop Typo and found these picture frames and thought they were a great gift for them to put a photo in. I then saw these cute 3D paper embellishments and I had the idea to put them in the frame to make a cute picture. Sorry about the title of the post. They aren't really DIY!

As you can see the embellishments are attached to a plastic sheet. I cut the plastic sheet around the shapes so I could work out how to layout the embellishments on the back board of the frame.

At the back of each embellishment there is a sticky tab. When I was happy with the layout I took the embellishments off the plastic sheet and stuck them on the back board of the frame. I pressed the embellishments down so they are secure.

Once they are stuck on, I bent the papers out to add effect.

Then place in the frame. You can place this on a self or on a wall like I have done. A cute little present made with love!
